Get to what matters
I bought this book to be able to communicate more effectively with my colleagues and adult students. I appreciated the tips on how to be a better listener and how to ask better questions. Although it is marketed as a book to help in the workplace, I feel that it has helped me deal with shy teens, mansplainers, and political monologuers at home over the holidays.
Written in a straightforward, positive manner with real-life examples of challenging situations and viable solutions, this book is useful both in professional and personal relationships.
